A few years ago, Skyway Hills was given the opportunity to renew a commitment to go into the Rankin County jail system and teach the word of God. This opportunity was provided as part of the newly elected sheriff's vison. Sheriff Bailey understands the power of the word to change people's lives and has given Skyway Hills along with several other churches, access "to those who are in chains"  so that we might share the good news with them. Another part of this vision is to try and prevent reoccurring offenses and improve the quality of life of these inmates. If through us, God can influence and change an inmate's mindset, then we all benefit. To this end we are committed to participate in hopes that we might save some and bring honor and glory to God!
